The business model for Byrd Consultants is simple: Educate the American public on the policies and procedures of the Social Security Administration. And, through expert advice and counsel, eliminate fear and anxiety on retirement.
Byrd Consultants LLC brings clarity to employees and employers who grapple with the ins and outs of Social Security policies and procedures. And there are many: At what age should I retire to maximize benefits? What benefits can my children expect to receive now that their father has passed away? What compensation could I expect to receive following my debilitating accident? And how can I help my mother secure appropriate benefits for her medical care?
While some of these questions may appear to be simplistic on their face – and answers could be provided by “others” – a distinction is warranted: with Byrd Consultants LLC, clients also can get answers to the “ifs,” “ands,” and “buts.”
Our History
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all things Social Security, Sharon Byrd and Byrd Consultants provide a much-needed service for individuals and companies that care about the well-being and quality of life of their employees.
After 30 years with the Social Security Administration, Sharon Byrd called it quits. Like many in the “sandwich age,” she left the workforce to care for her aging mother, while continuing to provide moral support for her young, adult daughter.
Because she knows the “gaps” between the public’s need for information on Social Security and the agency’s inability to meet those needs as a result of a depressed workforce, Sharon Byrd, through Byrd Consultants LLC, has stepped up to fill those gaps.
